‘Grease’ actor Eddie Deezen accused of causing a scene at a Maryland restaurant and throwing plates at police

“Grease” actor Eddie Deezen was arrested after an incident at a restaurant in LaVale, Maryland, TMZ reported.

Deezen, who played Eugene Felsnic in the original “Grease” movies, was accused of causing a scene at the unnamed restaurant on Thursday, according to the outlet.

TMZ cited a police report, which said Deezen, 64, also apparently hid behind a woman in a booth and refused orders to leave the restaurant.

National Cheeseburger Day 2021 deals continue Sunday at Burger King, Wendy’s, Sonic, Red Robin

UPDATE: National Cheeseburger Day was Saturday, Sept. 18 but some deals continue Sunday, which also is Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Saturday is one of the beefiest and cheesiest days of the year.

Sept. 18 is National Cheeseburger Day, and restaurants are celebrating the made-up food holiday with discounts and free burgers.

According to Ranker, a crowd-sourced voting platform, the top five fast-food burgers were: Five Guys Bacon Cheeseburger, Five Guys Hamburger, In-N-Out Double Double, Five Guys Cheeseburger and Culver’s ButterBurger.

Burgers at Whataburger, Wendy’s, Steak ‘n Shake, Burger King, McDonald’s and Red Robin also make the top 20 list.

Michigan’s Best Local Eats: Flint vs. Detroit-style Coney dogs, this restaurant serves both

FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI — A Coney island restaurant in Genesee County has some staple items that could be considered the cornerstones of the food scene for the Flint area and other communities.

Telly’s Coney Island, 3459 Miller Road, Flint Township, has of course coney dogs on its menu, but the business offers more than one style for its customers: A Flint-style and a Detroit-style coney dog.

Both are prepared with Koegel’s Viennas and buns, however, the Flint-style coney is then topped with loose beef, mustard and onions while the Detroit-style coney is more of a chili dog with mustard and onion.
