How and where to book a table in RI

Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, Nov. 25.

These restaurants have reported they will be open and serving holiday meals. Reservations are strongly suggested. Takeout options are also included. Note the deadlines.

Restaurants open in Providence for Thanksgiving

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

One West Exchange St., (401) 533-9000, flemingsteakhouse.com, opens at noon to serve their full menu and a special holiday menu. They will also offer wine specials. Flemings also has catering for the whole family. Place orders at bit.ly/3w7hK13 online.

Il Massimo

134 Atwells Ave., (401) 273-0650, massimori.com, will serve from noon to 7 p.m.

Trattoria Zooma

245 Atwells Ave., (401) 383-2002, trattoriazoomari.com, will be open from noon to 8 p.m.

Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille

489 Atwells Ave., (401) 274-6000, tavolowinebar.com, is open for the holiday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Ellie’s

225 Weybosset St., (401) 228-8118, elliesprov.com, will be open for Thanksgiving pick-ups and breakfast. The hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Red Stripe

465 Angell St., (401) 437-6950, redstriperestaurants.com, will be open noon to 7 p.m. The cost for a three-course fixed price menu is $34.95 for guests over 12 years and $19.95 for younger guests. The courses are also available for takekout on Thanksgiving but all orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Mill’s Tavern

101 North Main St., (401) 272-3331, millstavernrestaurant.com, offers a four-course fixed price menu available from 11:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $49 per person ($25 per child). They also offer a family-style Thanksgiving dinner package to-go (with reheating instructions provided). It is available for two ($49.95), four ($99.95), six ($149.95), or eight ($199.95) to be picked up at a scheduled time on Wednesday, Nov. 24. Takeout orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Nov. 21.

The Providence Marriott Downtown

1 Orms St., will be open for breakfast 7 to 10 a.m. They will also be open for dinner, with limited menu and a Thanksgiving special from 5 to 10 p.m. They also have a to-go option that feeds eight people with a Thanksgiving feast for $160. Order by noon on Nov. 19 by calling (401) 272-2400, choose option 6. Pick-up is Nov. 24.

Los Andes

903 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, (401) 649-4911, losandesri.com, is preparing a prime rib dinner, served hot and ready to eat, with pick-up on Thanksgiving Day between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The cost is $190 for 6 people and $360 for 12 people. Email [email protected] to place an order.

Bellini Providence

Newport: Restaurants open on Thanksgiving

The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar

1 Sayers Wharf, 401-846-2260, mooringrestaurant, will be open noon to 7 p.m. serving the full menu with Thanksgiving Day specials. There will be a special take-out menu that feeds four.

22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grill

22 Bowen’s Wharf, (401) 841-8884, 22bowens.com, from is open noon to 8 p.m. The full menu will be served as well as Thanksgiving specialties.

Castle Hill Inn

590 Ocean Drive, (401) 849-3800, castlehillinn.com, will be serving a three-course Thanksgiving Dinner from noon to 8 p.m. The cost is $85 per person. There is a to-go option that serves 4 and costs $250 per o, rder.

The Dining Room at The Vanderbilt

41 Mary St.,(401) 846 -6200, aubergeresorts.com, hosts Thanksgiving on the Coast from 2 to 9 p.m. with reservations. The menu is pre-set.

West Bay: Thanksgiving dining

Finn’s Harborside

38 Water St., East Greenwich, (401) 884-6363, finnsharborside.com, opens at noon and the last reservations will be for 4 p.m. They are serving their regular menu along with prime rib and turkey dinners. Reservations for parties of any size are accepted by phone or online.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

at 825 Centre of New England Blvd., Coventry, (401) 827-8015, will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Go online at crackerbarrel.com/Locations/States/ri/coventry/452 to reserve a table.

Elizabeth of Portofino’s

Hillside Country Club

82 Hillside Ave., Rehoboth, Mass., (508) 252-9761, is closed for Thanksgiving dining but has individual meals to go for $27 and a complete feast for six people for $160. Deadline to order by phone is Nov. 14. Pickup is 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 24.
