There are many choices for lunch on Christmas Eve and early dinners. Christmas choices are more limited.For those looking for La Vigilia, the Feast of the Seven Fishes, there are two choices on Federal Hill in Providence, one choice in Westerly and a takeout option from Iggy’s in Warwick.
It’s understandable that most restaurants will be closed to allow their staff time with family. But if you are traveling, finding a restaurant is a must. If you don’t see anything that will accommodate you on this list, check out hotel restaurants across the state. They are generally open.
The last few years I was in San Francisco visiting my sons, we found a nice Thai restaurant busy but wonderful for a family dinner on Christmas Day.
