Mother’s Day is Sunday and one of the best ways to celebrate the mom in your life is by taking her to breakfast, lunch or dinner. Most restaurants will be open, but we picked a few spots that are offering special menus or items.
The White Linen
This restaurant is now taking reservations for its Mother’s Day brunch. Reservations can be made for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. by calling 785-350-2500.

Hilton Garden Inn Hotel
This hotel will offer a five-course Mother’s Day menu that includes tomato basil bisque, ratatouille, wedge Caesar salad, surf and turf, chicken cordon bleu or French crepes, chocolate mousse or chocolate rose éclair. The price of the meal varies based on course selection.
Reservations are required and can be made for 5-8 p.m. May 8 or 5-10 p.m. May 9 by calling 785-350-2069.

Coffeehead
This coffee shop and bakery will partner with TopCity Flower Truck to sell flowers Saturday and Sunday. The business will also sell a 4-inch strawberry box cake and 4-inch tiramisu. Both can be purchased for $7.99. Pre-orders are welcomed.

Blue Moose
This restaurant is taking reservations for Mother’s Day and is open 8:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
Annie’s Place
This restaurant is offering a special Mother’s Day menu from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dishes include chicken cordon bleu, Salisbury steak, Hawaiian quiche and broccoli quiche. Reservations are not required but encouraged. Regular menu items will also be served throughout the day.

Oleander Cafe
This cafe located inside of Topeka Vendor’s Market will be open and offering surprise specials on Saturday. Other menu items that will be offered include a club sandwich and strawberry walnut salad. The cafe is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Leonard Meat
This butcher shop has partnered with local businesses to offer a Mother’s Day gift package. Orders can be placed by calling 785-409-5292.
The gift includes two 10-ounce KC strip steaks, two 10-ounce ribeye steaks, four boneless chicken breasts, four cheddar hamburger patties, 1-pound hamburger with bacon, Cashmere popcorn and Hazel Hill chocolate. The bundle can be purchased for $60.
