Tripadvisor names UK restaurant as world’s best place for brunch
3 min readA UK restaurant has been named as the world’s best place for brunch by Tripadvisor.
The Scarlett Green in London impressed with its menu offering everything from sweet to savoury treats, including the likes of a banana bread sandwich, a ‘fancy bacon roll’, Shakshouka and sweetcorn fritters. Prices for dishes range from £8-£12.
For those after bottomless booze, you can opt 90 minutes of free-flowing bubbles and mimosas, although this comes with an added cost of £42.50 per person.
Still, with an average rating of 5* on Tripadvisor, there’s no denying that it’s consistently been proving a hit with diners.

The restaurant also boasts a handy location in the heart of London’s Soho, so it’s ideal if you’re looking to include it as part of a weekend break with some sightseeing in the English capital.

Of course by taking the crown as the world’s best brunch spot, Scarlett Green also took the spot as the UK’s best place for brunch.
In fact, the Tripadvisor awards uncovered the top 10 best places for brunch in the UK, which included spots in the likes of Edinburgh, Newquay, Leeds and York (you can check out the full list below).

The Scarlett Green wasn’t alone in being a UK restaurant to top worldwide rankings.
For those who are looking for some seriously fancy dining, a trip to Cumbria might need to be on the cards.
That’s because when it came to the best fine dining restaurant in the world, Tripadvisor’s awards found that The Old Stamp House Restaurant in Ambleside proved the most popular choice.
