New food hall plus over 140 SF restaurants taking part in SF Restaurant Week

3 min read

Starting Friday, April 9, over 140 restaurants throughout the city will participate in San Francisco Restaurant Week — including eateries in the Tenderloin’s highly anticipated new La Cocina Municipal Marketplace, which opens Monday.

“We are excited to participate in Restaurant Week as a way to introduce the new Marketplace and its incredible businesses — Boug Cali, Estrellita’s Snacks, KAYMA, Los Cilantros, Mi Morena, and Teranga — to the community,” Michelle Magat of La Cocina said in a press release.

Special prix fixe menus for indoor and outdoor dining will abound, and even some takeout and delivery options. Restaurant Week will feature lunch menus at $10, $15 and $25 price points, and dinner menus at $25, $40 and $65 price points.

A focus this year was to increase the diversity of dining options and to create opportunities for new participants. On that note, Self Help for the Elderly helped add over 20 Chinese-owned businesses to SFRW’s participation list, all new but one previous participant.

SFRW runs from Friday, April 9 to Sunday, April 18. Below are some of the best deals we found, but find the whole list of participating restaurants here.

This year, San Francisco Restaurant Week is taking place from April 9 to April 18, 2021.
